IRC is a chat service. Using this we can have a place to talk when the servers are down, and if people use the Meginjarder or ELTank plugins, a way to talk to people in game from outside of the game and with members from different guilds..

There are several ways to access this chat:

You can use the ELcomms to connect to the IRC chat within the game aswell.

Go to the Comms tab
Go to the ELComs tab
In the first box, enter "irc.sorcery.net"
In the Server Port box enter "6667"
At the bottom check the box next to /CL and in the box to the right of that enter "#tidac"
At the top, check the box labled Disable ELComs, and then uncheck it again

Now you should be able to chat using /CL

You can use any regular IRC client with this information:

Server: irc.sorcery.net
Port: 6667

Channel: #tidac
