b. Go to Option -> Properties, select Recording..
c. Make sure that Microphone is checked in the list and then click OK
d. In the Recording Control Window, make sure Microphone is selected and the volume is moved some ways up.

3) Test your microphone in Sound Recorder.
a. Go to Start -> Accessories -> Entertainment-> Sound Recorder
b. Try recording some sound and playing it back. If it works then your microphone works.
4) Inside Teamspeak, go to Settings -> Sound Input/Output Settings. Make sure that if you have Push to Talk on that you are pressing that button when you are speaking. If you have voice activation on, play with the voice activation level so that it activates when you speak but is not on continuously.
